Pes, how do you really feel? Just kidding. That Really sucks. I hate when companies rip you off, but what I too hate more is Bad Customer Service! I don't care what job you have, how much you get paid, or how bad your day was, if you are in any field of customer service, people are paying You to do your job and serve your customers. So just bone up and treat the customer with a little respect, and give them some good Customer service! (aka, not Bad customer service).

Do you want to go into more detail, or should we all just rant on the bad customer service?

Well then, allow me to elaborate. Jiffy Lube sells their Signature Service for $37.99. Aside from requesting that service I also requested that they check the inflation of my tires as they are new. I wanted them inflated to 40 psi. (I had already checked them and they were at 35 psi)

There were no other customers at the store so I figured I was gonna get pretty good service.

So the Signature Service includes, among other things, cleaning of the outside windows and vacuuming the interior of the vehicle. We all know what a pain windows and vacuuming is, especially for us old farts.

The air filter was pretty dirty so I asked them to replace that to the tune of $22.99. All done, I paid and walked out. Hopped in my ride and drove away. Then I noticed that my windows hadn't been cleaned. Trivial right, so I start looking around and they hadn't vacuumed. Not so trivial as my vehicle was full of beach sand and that is why I paid to have them vacuum.
So I figured that maybe their service had changed so I got back to the office and got on-line and there in black and white, vacuuming and window cleaning included in the service. So I call the shop and the lady confirmed that it should have been done. She didn't give two shits about trying to appease me. Thus my anger.

So to top it off, I go back out and check the tires...well I presume you know what the outcome of that was!

Thusly, f*** you Jiffy Lube!

I kinda figured it was something like that.
Jiffy Lubes main business is upsell upsell and upsell.
You can never get in and out for their "quoted price".
And it seems the air filter has gone bad every 3K miles when they check it, even if their records show you bought one from them during the last visit.
The only way to know you got the service your suppose to is A: watch them do it and B:check it before you leave.

I have had the exact same problems, on multiple occasions back in Utah at Walmart. Can't decide if it's just the auto repair places, or the common chain places. Either way, I've given a few places a mouth full or two before. Only Mack and Jemima on here know what that's like - it's a side of Pixie y'all might be shocked to see! :Reddd: :Flaming: :Censored: :Knifed:

Wait, scratch that, even Mack and Jemima haven't seen me too furious before. It's rare and far between.

Lol - Good point Mack. But as we talked about, I don't think you've seen that side of me since I was a teenager. Battles with your parents do tend to bring out your worst side, doesn't it?

Pix angry? Nooooo. Actually you are a sweetheart IRL ;) Honestly though I agree with you 100% If your job is customer service that is your job. I think people slack nowadays because not enough people put their foot down. Truthfully the way I respond is with my pocketbook. I used to complain and speak to managers until I realized that that had become half of my shopping experience lol. If I am unhappy I just do not return. The sh** thing about America right now is a year from now when these companies lose business they will be looking for federal handouts. Ugh!

*waits 10 seconds and breathes while repeating "this too will pass"*

A capitalist economy is survival of the fittest. I don't give my business to the cripple. The more socialist our economy/culture/lifestyle becomes the more we can expect this garbage service.

That's my two cents on the issue(s).
