Would love to give it a go sometime, I just have to get a computer, internet connection, etc sorted out. So at the pace things are going here, probably in about a decade...

I'm working on it Jed. It should basically be possible, but will most likely involve massive data transfer, layer by layer brain examination and death. Lots of death. But it should work. That's for just information transit - for matter transit we'd have to work out a few more issues (entanglement, propagation loss, energy balance) along side the fact that even if I could pull it off, you'd arrive here moving at about mach 1.5 straight up (conservation of linear momentum). Of course, that's better than going west, where you'd arrive going down, and hence splat, but finding something to catch you with could prove tricky...

So i guess it wasn't a lie when they told me i could be teleported, but all teleports lead to Hell.

OK, so I finally got to try this out this weekend (MVM, not teleporting, sorry!) Basically: It's epic. If you haven't tried it yet, you're in for a real treat. Like any online game, particularly coop (like L4D etc) the team matters a lot, and good teammates can make or break it, but try it out with a bunch of friends and you won't be disappointed. It's well paced and balanced, and offers those high octane last-ditch moments that were so great in the early days of TF2/final fights of L4D. Most video game fun I've had since I finished Orcs Must Die.

I had just started playing this the other day not knowing about this post. It really does depend on good teamwork! Don't know if anyone noticed but you can play a few regular maps as practice with bots and they are pretty smart.
