web page problem

web page problem

Postby Majik » Wed Sep 16, 2009 2:26 pm

I uploaded a webpage to one of my sites and it shows what I guess is carriage returns and/or character breaks when published. I can't figure out how to get rid of those, any one have any idea?

Sent you the link, but I just realized, I actually have a different version of the page I want to post, but it has the same problem!

OK - I had a look, but what I really need to see is your original document that you are posting from. Can you email it to me? ideovation@hotmail.com

I reconverted it for you. I sent you both the OpenOffice version and the HTML. You will need to re-imbed your images, but the funky characters are gone.

Hey Mack, I'm actually begining to think my html editor might be adding the code in. I downloaded the one you made for me and opened it in my editor
Then I closed it and reopened it and the characters were back.
I'm going to keep looking into this, but thanks for trying.
